Silk Flowers

Silk flowers are replicas of the real thing and they speak a language that we have all heard at some time or another. Flowers speak the language of beauty. The eye beholds them and they give a feeling of peace, calm and happiness. They uplift the spirit.

When brides choose their wedding flowers, one question they must ask themselves is: do I want real flowers, or silk?

Traditional brides always go for real flowers. Their delicate beauty can never be duplicated by artificial flowers. The mesmerizing scent of roses or lilies is a far cry from the artificially scented silk flowers. Scent is often associated with feelings or memories and a wedding is an emotional and memorable experience. And that is where real flowers score over silk ones.

Besides fresh flowers, dried or faux flowers made from silk, present an option for the perfect floral gift. Silk flowers are available as single flowers, bouquets, and special Mother's day arrangements. There are several websites that advertise flowers, their availability, and price. One of the advantages of silk flowers is that they last for several years. Care must be taken to not keep the arrangement in direct sunlight. When preserving silk flowers, people can use feather dusters to remove dust collection. Pump sprays and vacuum cleaners can also be used to clean silk flowers.
